There is so much I could tell you about myself - that I’m an ENFP and an enneagram type 2 (so talking to people is kinda my jam), that I used to be an elementary music teacher (making wrangling goofy groomsmen on a wedding day a snap), or that I really truly LOVE all things photography and entrepreneurship - but mostly I just want to tell you that I’m SO over the moon thrilled that you’re here, and that I'm so grateful you would consider entrusting me with the storytelling of your day.
It's most important to me that you know that my heart beats for YOU, for your story, and for your legacy. Designing my couples' heirloom albums from each and every wedding day - creating their first printed family keepsake that they will pass down for generations - is truly the highest honor.
I've had more than five years of experience in wedding photography, with over 90 weddings photographed and numerous publications in print and online, but the accolades I cherish most are the words from my couples after their experience with me. When they say that they felt like we were friends long before their wedding, so nothing was more natural and effortless than having me by their side on the biggest day of their lives, it means the world.
I want that same experience for you - because I firmly believe you should never have to choose between stunning, publication-worthy photos and a personal, endearing connection with the photographer who takes them. This is the space to learn a little more about me, to hear from past brides and grooms in their own words, and to imagine your celebration in front of my lens.
I don't share my story often.
I don't often share about how my youngest sister passed away when I was 13. How my passion for doing fun “photoshoots” with my sister ended up giving us the photos we used at her funeral service. How the only professional photos we got as a family of eight were gifted to us by a local photographer, and how those photos are one of the few things I cherish most even today. How that forever burned into my soul the immense weight that photos carry.
I am such a firm believer in timeless, beautiful photos - in photos that last.
Because our family Christmas photos from 2009 are one of the things I treasure the most in this world.
Because love and family are sacred, wedding days are over in a blink, and time moves far too fast.
Because we each know the feeling of cherishing a special photo when that photograph is all we have left.
Because when you are old and gray, dancing in your kitchen, and for the hundredth time your grandkids are asking you to tell the story of your wedding portrait hanging on the wall next to the table, you'll never ever ever regret investing the time and money into preserving your togetherness forever in photographs that will still look as beautiful and timeless as they did the day you said "I do."
I promise.
