Capturing beauty in the big moments and the small, in Ohio and destinations worldwide.
Hi there! Welcome to the Catherine Milliron Photography blog, the place where my passion for photography, travel, and business collides.
I love serving and celebrating my couples on their happiest days and I love serving and celebrating other business owners as I share my knowledge and love of business education.
I hope you'll grab your favorite beverage (I'll be sipping a lavender latte) and stay awhile!
Katelyn and Isaac’s stunning springtime wedding at Margot Hill was a celebration just as joyful as the sunshine on their May wedding day. Katelyn (or Katie, to me and everyone else who knew her in elementary school) is one of my oldest friends. We met at our first night of basketball practice when I was […]
Amanda and Christopher’s traditional church wedding in southwest Ohio was just the sweetest day. Amanda chose a gorgeous sky blue and white color palette, with stunning all white florals (designed by the flower shop at which her mom works – so sweet right?). In lieu of a first look, Amanda and Chris opted for a […]
Jill and Cory’s elegant historic bank wedding at Cleveland’s Ariel Pearl Center was a perfectly timeless soirée. The navy bridesmaid dresses, black tuxedos, vintage trolley transportation, and classic round shaped bouquets all elevated the little details of their day. From their getting ready suite at the Kimpton Schofield Hotel in downtown Cleveland, to their portraits […]
This Pittsburgh rooftop destination wedding featured some of the most stunning city skyline views I’ve ever seen. When Erin and Eric’s destination wedding in Aruba was cancelled, they made a quick change and decided to have an intimate Pittsburgh rooftop destination wedding instead with sixty of their closest family and friends. They said their vows […]
Cara and Ben’s Four Seasons Barn wedding in Columbus, Ohio was the sweetest late summer affair. The Four Seasons Barn is the perfect definition of farmhouse chic – a little bit rustic on the outside, but 10/10 classy on the inside. With a gorgeous stone fireplace and statement mantle, tall ceilings with exposed wood beams, […]
This beautiful Columbus Prairie Oaks Metropark summertime sunset engagement session by Catherine Milliron Photography, an Ohio and destination fine art wedding photographer, captures Cara and Ben’s breathtaking love story set in a rolling field of lush grass. This sweet couple danced and played in this stunning Columbus, Ohio Metropark. Prairie Oaks Metropark showcases a darling wooden […]
Myra and John’s historic Savannah, Georgia destination engagement session was what all southern pastel loving dreams are made of. This sweet couple has always been drawn to Savannah’s whimsical charm, so when they found out I would be in the area for a weekend, they traveled eight hours round trip to have their engagement photos […]
It’s been a little over three months of marriage for these cuties, and I’ve been holding off on sharing their bridal portraits for just this very moment!! About a month after they said “I do,” Amanda and Christian got dressed back up in their wedding attire for a one month anniversary bridal session at White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas and OH MY GOSH GUYS are they not the CUTEST thing you’ve ever seen??
Megan and Jay were married on the most magical December day, just ten days before Christmas. Their Muskegon, Michigan wedding (just outside of Grand Rapids) was full of the most perfect cranberry and gold details, lending the most dreamy, wintery touches to their already stunning day. Evergreen branches, chalkboard signs, and wood slice ornaments unified the decor and created a welcoming and homey atmosphere as their nearest and dearest gathered together to celebrate them as they said “I do.”
Alyssa summed it up perfectly at the end of the evening as we walked back to the venue: “I’m going to cry because it’s over and because this was the happiest day of my life.” It truly was a joyful, beautiful, and happy-tear-filled day as friends and family gathered to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. DiCrasto.
Oh my lanta, where do I even begin with these two? They’ve been there through it all. They were the very first couple I ever photographed, and they were sooooo very very patient with me in my beginning moments, allowing me to practice on them as I grew. Over the past few years, my photography skills and business have grown and flourished, and so has their love for each other.
Want to have your mind culinarily exploded by a biscuit?? Then you absolutely HAVE to check out Alabama Biscuit Co. I’m not kidding, don’t walk, RUN. (Seriously, even if you live on the other side of the world, these biscuits are worth the trip. Pinky promise.) Their biscuits are incredible.
