Easter is only 2 days away, and this year is a little different as we are all quarantining at home (if you’re reading this blog post in the future, this was the year of coronavirus and social distancing🙃). I wanted to do a fun photo shoot for easter, so I decided I wanted to color hard boiled Easter eggs!
The only problems are that I really hate the artificial colors and toxins found in store bought egg dye (neons are not my jam) and I also didn’t want to make a trip to the store. So just in case you’re in the same boat as I am this year, I thought I’d share with you my favorite method for dyeing easter eggs from home.
I’ve used this method for a few years now and I LOVE the gorgeous natural colors! You get to use up ingredients you have already sitting around your pantry, and it never turns out the same way twice — it’s a win-win!

Have you ever heard of the rule of thirds? You can take your photos from meh to WOW in just five minutes by implementing this simple tip! Watch today’s episode of #CMPmondayminute to find out how.

Saying yes to being a bridesmaid in Megan and Jay’s Michigan winter wedding was one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made. Then, Megan asked me another question – if I would also do double duty as her wedding photographer. My initial gut reaction was to excitedly say yes, but then my logistical side started panicking. Was it even remotely possible to be a photographer AND a bridesmaid??
