What a wonderful day this was. Our trip took us to Magnolia Market at the Silos in Waco, Texas – the home of HGTV’s Fixer Upper stars, the demo day and shiplap loving couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines. While there, we shopped the silos, walked the grounds, sampled the food trucks, and indulged in some of the most amazing cupcakes we’ve ever had. The silos boast a wide-open green space full of picnic tables, chairs, and swings: the perfect place for summertime fun in the sunshine.

Her piercing words hung suspended in the warm fall air between us as we sat on the steps of my college dorm. We had just finished shooting pictures of Anna when our conversation turned to events of this past year that have deeply impacted us.
