Capturing beauty in the big moments and the small, in Ohio and destinations worldwide.
Hi there! Welcome to the Catherine Milliron Photography blog, the place where my passion for photography, travel, and business collides.
I love serving and celebrating my couples on their happiest days and I love serving and celebrating other business owners as I share my knowledge and love of business education.
I hope you'll grab your favorite beverage (I'll be sipping a lavender latte) and stay awhile!
This downtown Chicago waterfront engagement session was the perfect backdrop for this unique love story. Alyssa and Rob first met at work, and what was once a coworking relationship eventually blossomed into something more. They built their relationship and life together in Chicago, but knew they were planning to have their fall 2020 wedding back […]
I am so excited for this lovely steel blue and slate gray downtown Springfield wedding to finally hit the blog! Michaela + Jake’s wedding day was a lovely timeless and traditional celebration. After their ceremony at Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, OH, they then took the party down the road to continue the celebration at […]
This wine and tan Rosedale Bible College winter wedding is filled to the brim with holiday magic. Kelly and Aaron got married just ten days before Christmas and their winter wedding was absolutely dreamy. The bridesmaids’ wine dresses and the groomsmen’s tan vests perfectly complimented the winter scenery at Rosedale Bible College in Columbus, Ohio. […]
Forever swooning over Emily and Caleb’s whimsical sunset Columbus Scioto Grove Metropark engagement session. I LOVE engagement sessions because they are an opportunity to simply have fun together as a couple while you get to know your photographer, and Emily + Caleb’s gorgeous Scioto Grove Metropark engagement session was no exception! We met at Scioto […]
Not only is Hanna’s 2020 high school senior portrait session one of the cutest you’ll ever see, she’s also one of the most gentle and tenderhearted humans you’ll meet. I had so much fun taking her senior portraits! She’s a cheerleader at her high school so we chose her first 2020 senior portrait session location […]
Christina and Josh got married this past fall at Little Book Meadows in Columbus, OH. I love shooting at this venue (check out Hannah + Michael’s wedding I photographed there almost a year ago!) and it provides a whimsical, country-feeling backdrop for lighthearted wedding days.
Easter is only 2 days away, and this year is a little different as we are all quarantining at home (if you’re reading this blog post in the future, this was the year of coronavirus and social distancing🙃). I wanted to do a fun photo shoot for easter, so I decided I wanted to color hard boiled Easter eggs!
The only problems are that I really hate the artificial colors and toxins found in store bought egg dye (neons are not my jam) and I also didn’t want to make a trip to the store. So just in case you’re in the same boat as I am this year, I thought I’d share with you my favorite method for dyeing easter eggs from home.
I’ve used this method for a few years now and I LOVE the gorgeous natural colors! You get to use up ingredients you have already sitting around your pantry, and it never turns out the same way twice — it’s a win-win!
A month ago I took a trip to Cincinnati, Ohio with one of my dear friends, and y’all asked for a travel guide recap of all the places we ate while we were there! Here’s a list of my favs (complete with photos) of my favorite places and best restaurants to eat at in downtown Cincy! Have you visited any of these eateries or do you have another favorite local spot to recommend? Let me know in the comments! Happy traveling!
