Capturing beauty in the big moments and the small, in Ohio and destinations worldwide.
Hi there! Welcome to the Catherine Milliron Photography blog, the place where my passion for photography, travel, and business collides.
I love serving and celebrating my couples on their happiest days and I love serving and celebrating other business owners as I share my knowledge and love of business education.
I hope you'll grab your favorite beverage (I'll be sipping a lavender latte) and stay awhile!
This Pittsburgh rooftop destination wedding featured some of the most stunning city skyline views I’ve ever seen. When Erin and Eric’s destination wedding in Aruba was cancelled, they made a quick change and decided to have an intimate Pittsburgh rooftop destination wedding instead with sixty of their closest family and friends. They said their vows […]
This downtown Dayton performing arts district engagement session by the Schuster Center and Old Court House perfectly captured Hannah and Marc’s theatre loving personalities. This sweet Dayton engagement session was captured by Catherine Milliron Photography, an Ohio and destination fine art wedding photographer. Hannah and Marc both have a soft spot for the arts, so […]
This breathtaking summertime wedding editorial at Peterloon Estate in Cincinnati was the perfect way to end the summer. Photographed by Catherine Milliron Photography, this floral laden shoot provided endless inspiration for weddings featuring lush grounds, delicate details, and sweet pops of color. From gorgeous bridal gowns to the classic Rolls Royce getaway car, every detail […]
Myra and John’s historic Savannah, Georgia destination engagement session was what all southern pastel loving dreams are made of. This sweet couple has always been drawn to Savannah’s whimsical charm, so when they found out I would be in the area for a weekend, they traveled eight hours round trip to have their engagement photos […]
This downtown Chicago waterfront engagement session was the perfect backdrop for this unique love story. Alyssa and Rob first met at work, and what was once a coworking relationship eventually blossomed into something more. They built their relationship and life together in Chicago, but knew they were planning to have their fall 2020 wedding back […]
It’s been a little over three months of marriage for these cuties, and I’ve been holding off on sharing their bridal portraits for just this very moment!! About a month after they said “I do,” Amanda and Christian got dressed back up in their wedding attire for a one month anniversary bridal session at White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas and OH MY GOSH GUYS are they not the CUTEST thing you’ve ever seen??
Megan and Jay were married on the most magical December day, just ten days before Christmas. Their Muskegon, Michigan wedding (just outside of Grand Rapids) was full of the most perfect cranberry and gold details, lending the most dreamy, wintery touches to their already stunning day. Evergreen branches, chalkboard signs, and wood slice ornaments unified the decor and created a welcoming and homey atmosphere as their nearest and dearest gathered together to celebrate them as they said “I do.”
Oh my lanta, where do I even begin with these two? They’ve been there through it all. They were the very first couple I ever photographed, and they were sooooo very very patient with me in my beginning moments, allowing me to practice on them as I grew. Over the past few years, my photography skills and business have grown and flourished, and so has their love for each other.
Want to have your mind culinarily exploded by a biscuit?? Then you absolutely HAVE to check out Alabama Biscuit Co. I’m not kidding, don’t walk, RUN. (Seriously, even if you live on the other side of the world, these biscuits are worth the trip. Pinky promise.) Their biscuits are incredible.
Since Jen and I connected online, I had never met Jen or Kohl before this shoot but the instant we met them, I felt like we were friends. These two got married only two and a half months ago, and their love for each other is SO very evident. They are passionate about Jesus and about each other – the whole time they were either talking about each other or their walks with the Lord. It was so sweet to witness!
The next stop on this summer’s jam-packed travel itinerary is my home, Dallas, but we absolutely had to stop and explore a few new places along the way. As we passed through Georgia, my best-friend-turned-second-shooter, Ari, and I made a pit stop at Condesa Coffee in downtown Atlanta.
It’s been a hot moment since I have had a chance to blog and catch you up on the craziness around here, but this summer is one full of a whirlwind of traveling – whether vacationing with my family, shooting multiple weddings around the country, or doing missions overseas in Greece. Today, the first part of this summer’s adventures took me and my dear friend Ari through Knoxville, Tennessee.
I had never visited Knoxville before today, however, we wanted to make the most of our quick trip through. We decided to do brunch (our favorite meal of the day, can I get an amen?) and searched for local places serving unique dishes we may not be able to get elsewhere. After looking around, we decided to visit the French Market Crêperie
