Oh my lanta, where do I even begin with this Columbus Franklin Park Conservatory engagement session?

Megan and Jay have been there through it all. They were the very first couple I ever photographed, and they were sooooo very very patient with me in my beginning moments, allowing me (as a little baby photographer) to practice on them as I grew. Over the past few years, my photography skills and business have grown and flourished, and so has their love for each other.

Megan is one of my dearest friends, and we actually met because we were part of a team going on a missions trip to Ireland together two summers ago. We were on an airplane flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and she wouldn’t stop talking about this cute boy in her composition class who was headed off to basic training for the Air Force. She talked about how sweet he was and how she hoped they would date and how she was going to write him letters that summer.

And now, with a wedding in their near future, the rest, as they say, is history. These two darling humans are tying the knot this winter, and it was an honor and a joy to shoot the engagement pictures for these dear friends. The Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio was the perfect setting for photographing their sweet laughter and love.
