Want to have your mind culinarily exploded by a biscuit?? Then you absolutely HAVE to check out Alabama Biscuit Co. I’m not kidding, don’t walk, RUN. (Seriously, even if you live on the other side of the world, these biscuits are worth the trip. Pinky promise.) Their biscuits are incredible.

This biscuit joint was another stop on our summer road trip and photography adventure. Per usual, Ari and I got one sweet and one savory option to try, and they were both fantastic. Our savory biscuit was the “Croque Madame,” a homemade biscuit topped with smoked ham, house lemon and fine herbs aioli, a soft fried farm egg, and grass-fed cheddar cheese.

Our sweeter selection, the “Strawberry Bis-cake,” was comprised of again, a freshly homemade biscuit paired with spiced maple syrup, strawberry preserves, vanilla mascarpone cream, fresh local berries, and fennel marmalade. What. A. Freaking. Biscuit. This one was sooooooo good. And it was so pretty my photographer heart was exploding. I truly believe that beautiful food tastes better. 10/10 I could eat this every day for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy.
