This downtown Chicago waterfront engagement session was the perfect backdrop for this unique love story. Alyssa and Rob first met at work, and what was once a coworking relationship eventually blossomed into something more. They built their relationship and life together in Chicago, but knew they were planning to have their fall 2020 wedding back […]

Kelly and Aaron got married just ten days before Christmas and their winter wedding was absolutely dreamy. The bridesmaids’ wine dresses and the groomsmen’s tan vests perfectly complimented the winter scenery at Rosedale Bible College in Columbus, Ohio. If you want to see the most precious whole-family first look, then read on – it was such a beautiful and tearful moment! And when Aaron’s best man pulled in backup singers and they sang an original song instead of a toast, the whole room filled with laughter. Their wedding day was personal and sweet, and it was such a joy to get to be a part of it!
I LOVE engagement sessions because they are an opportunity to simply have fun together as a couple while you get to know your photographer, and Emily + Caleb’s gorgeous engagement session was no exception! We met at Scioto Grove Metropark in Columbus, they brought along their precious furry family member, Kenny, and we laughed […]
Hanna is not only the CUTEST high school senior you’ll ever see, she’s one of the most gentle and tenderhearted humans you’ll meet. I had so much fun taking her senior portraits! She’s a cheerleader at her high school so we chose her first location and outfit to reflect her school spirit and love for the sport of cheer, followed by a trip to Oakes Quarry Park, where you can Hanna’s free spirit and love for life on display.
Easter is only 2 days away, and this year is a little different as we are all quarantining at home (if you’re reading this blog post in the future, this was the year of coronavirus and social distancing🙃). I wanted to do a fun photo shoot for easter, so I decided I wanted to color hard boiled Easter eggs!
The only problems are that I really hate the artificial colors and toxins found in store bought egg dye (neons are not my jam) and I also didn’t want to make a trip to the store. So just in case you’re in the same boat as I am this year, I thought I’d share with you my favorite method for dyeing easter eggs from home.
I’ve used this method for a few years now and I LOVE the gorgeous natural colors! You get to use up ingredients you have already sitting around your pantry, and it never turns out the same way twice — it’s a win-win!
A month ago I took a trip to Cincinnati, Ohio with one of my dear friends, and y’all asked for a travel guide recap of all the places we ate while we were there! Here’s a list of my favs (complete with photos) of my favorite places and best restaurants to eat at in downtown Cincy! Have you visited any of these eateries or do you have another favorite local spot to recommend? Let me know in the comments! Happy traveling!
Kelly and Aaron took their engagement photos a week before their gorgeous December wedding at Rosedale Bible College. They chose Oakes Quarry Park as the backdrop for their romantic sunset engagement session.
