Today’s Knoxville travel guide features the darling French Market Crêperie.
It’s been a hot moment since I have had a chance to blog and catch you up on the craziness around here, but this summer is one full of a whirlwind of traveling – whether vacationing with my family, shooting multiple weddings around the country, or doing missions overseas in Greece. Today, the first part of this summer’s adventures took me and my dear friend Ari through Knoxville, Tennessee.
I had never visited Knoxville before today, however, we wanted to make the most of our quick trip through. We decided to do brunch (our favorite meal of the day, can I get an amen?) and searched for local places serving unique dishes we may not be able to get elsewhere. After looking around, we decided to visit the French Market Crêperie, a local breakfast/brunch eatery boasting both sweet and savory crêpes, as well as freshly made French beignets.
Let me tell you, we were not disappointed in the slightest! The crêpes were incredible and the beignets were to dieeeeee for (if you don’t know what beignets are, they are small pieces of fried dough topped with powdered sugar – run and get yourself one asap. You can thank me later). We opted for one sweet crêpe (the blueberry with lemon curd) and one savory crêpe (the turkey, artichoke, Swiss, and spinach). Both were wonderful, but the savory crêpe was our favorite, second only to the dreamy beignets.
Next time you’re in Tennessee for a bit, make sure to check back to this Knoxville travel guide and add this darling local crêperie to your list of places to visit. You’ll love the cozy atmosphere, quick and cheerful service, and delicious food. It’s definitely a new favorite!
