If there ever was a picture perfect wedding day, it was this navy and gold Texas Discovery Gardens botanical wedding.

Heather and Javier’s wedding day welcomed the most beautiful November weather Dallas has to offer as they tied the knot at the Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park. Heather and Javier were surrounded by their nearest and dearest as they said their vows in an intimate ceremony on the lawn, followed by a brunch reception featuring a donut wall they crafted themselves.

Everything from the decor to the flow of the day to the ceremony itself was completely true to this sweet couple. Their ceremony included a traditional lasso ritual, symbolizing the bride and groom being bound together as husband and wife, and a beautiful unity sand ceremony, paying homage to the couple’s unique family backgrounds and traditions.

The party was barely getting started when the ceremony finished. The bride and groom’s friends gave touching toasts to the newlyweds at a delicious brunch reception where they served egg casserole, biscuits and jam, chicken salad, chicken and waffles, and more. Their guests enjoyed lawn games, a photo booth, dancing, exploring the butterfly gardens, and celebrating the glowing bride and groom. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Lugo; thank you for allowing me to capture your special day!
