Jon and Alyssa have been dear friends of mine for many years now and their PNC Park destination wedding was one for the books. Alyssa and I met on one of the first days of college as we were assigned to the same small group in one of our classes, and it has been a joy getting to watch her relationship with Jon develop from the beginning.
These two have trusted me to document their relationship at every stage, which is something I do not take lightly (check out their darling Columbus North Market engagement session here) and it was pure joy getting to capture their wedding day. This Pittsburgh wedding was 100% true to the couple – from the heartfelt vows, to the reception at PNC Park (home of Alyssa’s favorite MLB team, the Pirates) to the elaborate cookie table, to the choreographed daddy/daughter dance, to the simple and sweet moments where happy tears were shed. It was truly a day to treasure.
Alyssa summed it up perfectly at the end of their PNC Park destination wedding as we walked back to the venue: “I’m going to cry because it’s over and because this was the happiest day of my life.” It truly was a joyful, beautiful, and happy-tear-filled day as friends and family gathered to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. DiCrasto.
